I want to tell you a story about Linda.
Linda owned a home, and squatters were living in it. They weren’t paying any rent, they weren’t helping with the utilities, and on top of all that, she’d fallen behind on her mortgage payments. It was the kind of situation that feels completely stuck, the kind that keeps you up at night wondering how it could possibly end well.
So Linda reached out to me. We helped her remove the squatters, put a good amount of money in her pocket, and I bought her home and brought her current on what she owed. Now she’s able to move on to her next place with cash in hand, instead of facing foreclosure and the very real fear of losing a place to live.
Linda’s story isn’t unusual, and that’s exactly why I wanted to share it. When you’re behind, when there’s a problem in the home you can’t seem to solve, when foreclosure feels like it’s closing in, it’s easy to believe there are no good options left. There almost always are. Sometimes it just takes someone who can look at the whole picture and find the path you couldn’t see on your own.
